What is Grok?

xAI recently released Grok 4, just a few months after the last version. Grok is made to compete with other AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google Gemini. What makes Grok unique is its casual tone and direct link to the X platform. At first, Grok was only for X Premium Plus users, but in December 2024, xAI added a free version that lets users ask up to 10 questions a day. Now, Grok is available on web browsers, iOS and Android apps, and desktop computers.

Telegramโ€™s CEO, Pavel Durov, announced that Grok will soon be available on Telegram too. A special version called Baby Grok is also coming, designed to give kids a safe and fun AI experience.

The Baby Grok app will be all about kid-friendly content. While Elon Musk hasnโ€™t shared exactly how it will differ from xAIโ€™s current tools, the goal is clear that is to give children a safe and fun way to explore AI.

The app is expected to include special features just for kids, possibly educational games, interactive learning tools, and more.

Other Platforms on Kid-friendly AI

Google is also working on a kidsโ€™ version of its AI, Gemini. This version will help children with homework, answer questions, and even help them write stories. Parents will be able to manage access through the Family Link app. Google has promised that there will be no ads and no data collection from children. The focus will be purely on learning and creativity.

Now, everyoneโ€™s watching to see how Baby Grok will stack up against Googleโ€™s kid-friendly Gemini.
