Meta is introducing a new monetization program on Facebook, Creator Fast Track, to help creators grow and earn money more easily. Established creators are set to get guaranteed pay alongside increased content reach on the social media platform.
At its core, Meta wants to attract creators from platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and give them a faster path to audience growth on Facebook. The company said the move is part of a broader push to keep creators and younger users active on the platform.
Why Meta Introduced Creator Fast Track?
Meta said Facebook paid creators nearly $3 billion in 2025, up 35% from the previous year and its highest annual total so far. It also said 60% of that payout went to Reels, while the rest was split across Stories, photos, and text posts.
Meta added that the number of creators earning more than $10,000 a year on Facebook has grown by over 30% year over year. That gives the new program a clear goal of turning Facebook into a stronger income source, not just a place to post.
Meta has been taking active steps to attract and retain a larger audience. In February 2026, Facebook unveiled the features of AI‑animated profile pictures, stories, and Memories that allowed users to make their profiles more interactive and compelling.
How Does the New Monetization Program Work?
Creator Fast Track offers three months of guaranteed pay and increased reach on eligible Reels. Creators can earn $1,000 per month if they have at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Those with more than one million followers on at least one of those platforms can earn $3,000 per month.
Meta also said eligible creators get immediate access to Facebook Content Monetization, even if they do not yet meet the usual invite-only criteria. That means they can continue earning from eligible content after the Fast Track period ends.
Further Growth Opportunities for Creators:
The Creator Fast Track program is not only about a short-term payout. Meta said creators can use their existing content, including older posts, instead of needing brand-new videos made just for Facebook. It is also introducing new performance metrics inside Facebook Content Monetization. These include Qualified View, Earnings Rate, and Non-Qualified Views, which are meant to help creators understand what earns money and what does not.
Facebook Content Monetization remains invite-only, but creators can express interest through the Professional Dashboard in the Facebook mobile app. From there, they need to open the Monetization tab, go to Content Monetization, and complete the interest form.
